Align
Conventional magnets don't necessarily align when they attach. Polymagnets are designed with a wide variety of alignment functions built in.
Latch
Latch Polymagnets repel until the pair pass a defined transition point, then reverse polarity and attract — a fundamental building block for sliding and rotating latches.
Spring
Spring Polymagnets attract until a transition point, past which they repel — the pair comes to rest at a repeatable equilibrium distance.
